Choir

Dear 4th and 5th Grade Students and Parents,

It is time to enroll for the Cougar Choir!  Choir is open to any 4th or 5th grader who chooses to join.  I would love to have any and all students who are interested!  My goals for choir include: rehearsing choral music, reading two part octavos, improvement of vocal techniques (including matching pitch, singing with a pleasant tone, singing in harmony, etc.), and building leadership skills in a safe and fun atmosphere.

Included in this handbook is all of the information that you will need during the school year pertaining to choir.  Please read the entire handbook as important dates and policies are included.  Some dates are not yet included, but I will notify you with these as soon as they are set.

If you are someone who wants to improve your singing and you enjoy performing with a group, then choir is the place for you!  Let’s have fun, meet some new friends, and make beautiful music together!  I can’t wait to start! J
